Hand-painted craft signage gives The Pourhouse an authentic prohibition-era  feel.

Hand-painted craft signage gives The Pourhouse an authentic prohibition-era  feel.

The Pourhouse is a 12,000 sq. ft. prohibition themed restaurant, bar and event venue which occupies the former trading floor of The Lumber Exchange in downtown Minneapolis.

My grandfather's original 1927 reference material and the imagery of Minneapolis-born, golden-age illustrator Herbert Paus inform our work for this ongoing project consisting of craft signage, chalkboards, promo design and sourcing.
